Summary of Audio Interview

Anh Thuan Hoang from Thoi Bao interviews Chi Kieu My Duyen. She is a member of Vietnamese Community in California and active volunteer. She informs us about recent and upcoming events in California including community and individual accomplishments of those in thriving communities across California. One of the most anticipated events of the year is the Lunar New Year Festival. In the spirit of Lunar New Year some markets are staying open all night long including restaurants and flower shops. This year’s Lunar Festival will include musical performances, games, fire crackers, flag ceremony and more! Schools, religious organizations, community associations are all working together to host a successful event. There are approximately 300-500 volunteers for this 2 day event that is expected to draw in an attended of over 100 000 – 150 000 people.
